A Week of Impact: 217 Families Helped
In just one week, your generosity helped us reach a total of 217 families across some of the hardest-hit communities in Talisay City.
Last week, our team delivered 46 Disaster Relief Bundles to families in Sitio Luy-a and Mananga, where homes were submerged and families lost nearly everything.
And today, we expanded our relief efforts even further.
In San Isidro and Isla Puwa, our ground team distributed 171 additional Disaster Relief Bundles, bringing urgent supplies to families who continue to live in crisis conditions after the storm.
Each bundle handed out represents safety, nourishment, and the reassurance that someone cares.
What’s Inside a Disaster Relief Bundle?
Every bundle is carefully designed to meet the most urgent needs families face right after the disaster.
First 46 Bundles (Sitio Luy-a & Mananga):
- 🛏️ Sleeping mat
- 🩶 Pillow
- 🧣 Blanket
- 💧 5-gallon clean water container
- 🍚 Rice and sardines
These items provided immediate warmth, hydration, and basic nutrition to families sleeping in damaged homes or makeshift shelters.
171 Bundles (San Isidro & Isla Puwa):
- 🔥 Portable stove
- 🍳 Cooking pan
- 🪣 Bucket for storing clean water
- 🍜 2.5 lbs of noodles
- ☕ Cocoa drink
These bundles help families safely prepare meals, store clean water, and restore daily routines disrupted by the typhoon.

While more than 2,000+ families across the area remain displaced, the 217 families reached this week now have the essentials they need to begin rebuilding.
