In the pursuit of breaking the cycle of poverty, education stands as a vital link. It echoes the age-old proverb, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Though attributed to Chinese tradition, we witness its essence throughout the Bible, as Jesus disciples his followers. In Matthew 4:19, Jesus encounters two brothers, Simon and Andrew, casting their fishing nets, and invites them, saying, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

At Kingdom Legacy Ministries (KLM), we hold firm to the belief that education is a gateway to not only acquiring knowledge but also to encountering the transformative power of Jesus Christ. By sponsoring children’s education, our goal is to enable them to hear the message of Jesus and to nurture big dreams as they return to school each year. Education provides them with an opportunity for a future that rises above their current circumstances. With Jesus guiding their journey, the potential of these young minds is boundless.

Over the past several years, with the incredible support of our dedicated community, we had the privilege of sending hundreds of our beloved children back to school and we’d love to continue to send these and others back each year until they finish their education. In a world where you have to choose between feeding and educating, many parents are faced with the tough choice of making sure their children have that basic necessity, but we want to make sure they have the opportunity for more. For $30.00, our children have the opportunity to have their school uniform, school fees, and school supplies paid for for the entire year.

As we strive to empower these children to become self-sufficient and secure their own futures, we recognize the importance of not only meeting their basic needs but also teaching them valuable skills. We are blessed to have the unwavering support of our friends and partners, who join us in this mission, enabling us to provide not only education but also hope, love, and the teachings of Jesus to these precious lives.
